Since 1ST Choice Moving and Storage focus is assisting people who are moving into new homes, it seemed only natural for us to support an organization that is actually providing people with a new home! We work with Habitat for Humanity; donating free moves for a family transitioning into their new HFH provided home. Additionally, at a customer’s request, we will deliver any unwanted furniture items associated with a move to the HFH restore, free of charge!

Senior Citizen Concerns: Because of our huge appreciation to our senior friends and their senior communities with which we are affiliated; 1ST Choice Moving and Storage donates a percentage of the profits derived from senior moves to charities that support senior citizens interests and health concerns. Also, you will find many members of our staff volunteering at events that benefit senior citizens, their families, and their communities.

Economic Slow Down*: 1ST Choice Moving and Storage is sensitive to the stress and hardships people are enduring due to our nation’s current economic regression. Each month 1ST Choice Moving and Storage provides a professional move, at cost or lower, to a qualifying individual or spouse whose recent lay-off has resulted in an unplanned need to move out of their current home.

Medical Needs*: Occasionally, unexpected medical needs arise creating the necessity for a downsize move, a move-in with family members, or the delivery of cumbersome medical equipment. Each month 1ST Choice Moving and Storage provides a professional move, at cost or lower, to a qualifying individual, spouse, or family member who needs assistance with a move resulting from a medical or health need.
